KannadaLearning.org was started in 2007 as a language learning platform with a practical, everyday-first approach to Kannada. Built on Moodle, the early lessons focused on day-to-day necessities rather than starting from the alphabet — helping learners hold real conversations from the very beginning.

Over time, K.T. Gatti's well-known book on Kannada learning was adapted to a digital format and brought into the platform, adding structured depth to the curriculum.

After several years, the project was stalled and eventually discontinued. We're now working on bringing it back.
